Global Reset Summit: December 5-6, 2020
2020 has shown us many things, tested us in countless ways, and shown us that we are truly at a turning point in our individual and collective journey on Earth. We cannot go on as we were. Yet, we do not know how to move forward.
Since its founding, Joint Idea has experimented with new ways of doing things. Ways that do not involve repeating the old, limiting patterns, that no longer serve us, our societies, or the environment we all share. We remain focused on how to do more with less. How to eliminate waste in our actions. How to manifest new realities through the alignment of shared intentions, meaningful work, and the power of heartful collaboration.
To us, real evolution means moving forward in a way that leaves no one behind. The new world we hope to see is closer to Utopia, a place where our own growth, clarity, and success helps to co-elevate all those around. Our approach to the unknown has been to move forward with the open curiosity and fearlessness in our hearts, even when our minds do not fully understand the logic of what we are doing.
As 2020 comes to a close, we are very excited to be a partner in the Global Reset Summit, a collaboration of concerned citizens, changemakers, and loving souls from around the world all coming together for a single reason: to help those most in need around us while also helping ourselves become capable of giving more. Our aim is for us all to grow stronger so that we can enter the future better prepared to handle shocks, challenges, triggers, and trauma better than we were in 2020. For us fortunate ones, this means upgrading our skills and mindset to boost our relationships, our productivity and work, and our peace of mind. For so many less fortunate than us, it means having enough food to eat to make it through the winter and stay alive.
We invite you to join us in this mission for a Global Reset. Feed your own hunger for knowledge and pay it forward by helping feed those that cannot see farther than their next meal. Shape-shifting from Me to We
as the essence of unity, community, and healing.
"What you seek is seeking you" was Rumi’s beautifully simple way to express one of life’s most complex truths: What frequency we put out into the world is reflected back to us in our life experience. The Zulu notion of Ubuntu expresses a similar belief: "I am because you are, you are because I am."
Now, maybe more than ever, we need to be reminded that we do not live for ourselves alone, but in communion with all living beings through the invisible threads of energy, frequency, and emotion that connect us all.
We humans are all both waves and particles and belong to both the material and dematerialized realms, though we have all but forgotten what that means and how to harness that wisdom for deeper connection.
At the Istanbul Hub of the House of Beautiful Business, we focused on Transcendence through a conversational journey from Me to We to Unity with 12 change makers from 5 countries. These are our sessions.

The internet is broken, what’s next?
Most people don’t realize it, but access to the Internet was established as a basic human right in many countries back in 2016. Now, with most of the world in lockdown, we can all truly appreciate how being online is much more than a tool or a vehicle: we simply cannot participate in modern life without it. But, this thing we love — even worship — is not on a stable footing, at least in its current form. It is under threat. Some say it is already broken. This is important.
Check out what we’re thinking about it here and what our tech partner Threefold is doing to create an internet that empowers equality, autonomy, and sustainability. Given the crazy pace of change, this may be the most important work of our lives.
